  • SATURDAY MAY 19th, 2018IS EDIBLE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS

    STATEWIDEFARM DAY!

We’re heading out to meet our growers and you’re invited! Join the fun by visiting a farm, taking a farm tour with your family or shopping at a farmers’ market! Share your experience on social media us-ing the hashtag #EHIFarmDay18. We’ll be tracking Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for great photos and stories.

Help us build the buzz and spreadthe farm-fresh love across Hawai‘i.

An island by island listing of farm tours, farm stands, locally sourced farmers’ markets and more!Slurp fruit from a cacao pod, sip a cup of freshly roasted Hawaiian grown coffee,

or sniff the intoxicating scent of a tropical flower: there’s a bounty of sensoryexperiences awaiting your discovery on the many farms throughout the Hawaiian islands.

Visit a farm and follow along!

Since 2007, when edible Hawaiian Islands began publishing our statewide local food and drink magazine, we have been happy to share our farmers’ markets list-ing by island. In 2013, we decided to add farm tours to the mix. Over the years we’ve grown our listing to the booklet you now hold, our 2018 Hawaii Farm Guide.

To be included in this listing we ask the markets to the following criteria: 1. The market must be open for more than one calendar year. 2. The market must source locally grown fruits, vegetables, value-added products and ready-to-go meals. 3. The market must be in good standing in the community. 4. Finally, when we visit the market we like to see it organized & clean.

If you don’t find your favorite market or farm tour listed here, please contact us. We do our best to uphold a high standard congruent to what we feel a true farm-ers’ market/farm tour is.

Also, please join us for our 5th Annual Statewide Farm Day! We invite you, your friends and your family to VISIT a farm, SHOP at a farmers’ market, or ATTEND a farm tour, and then SHARE your experience with us on social media using the hashtag #EHIFarmDay18.

You can also download our 2018 Hawaii Farm Guide from our website at www.ediblehi.com.

    Enjoy!
