    Moving to higher ground Thompson & Sons crew was scampering Sundaymorning to get as much equipment as they could to higher ground. Less than an hour

    had expired between the photo above and just below. Bottom photo shows their shop

    and machine yard, well before the worst of the f looding hit.

    Mitchel Bengochea

    OBITUARY

    Mitchel Bengochea,age 78, passed away onWednesday, August 20,2014 while working onhis arm north o Nashua,Montana. A vigil service will beheld on uesday, August26, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.at the Queen o AngelsCatholic Church in Nashua. Funeral service will beheld on Wednesday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St.Raphaels Catholic Church in Glasgow, Montana.Interment is in the Highland Cemetery in Glasgow.Bell Mortuary is in charge o arrangements.

    Mitchel was born on December 16, 1935in Glasgow, Montana, the son o Antonio andConcepcion (Burcavcae) Bengoche a. He attendedschools in ampico, Grain Community, and NashuaHigh School. He served in the US Army rom 1955to 1958, serving in Korea. Ater returning home he

    attended Montana State University in Bozeman andthen worked at the Glasgow Air Force Base whilestarting his career in agriculture raising sheep,hereord cattle, and wheat.

    On April 28, 1962 Mitchel married MarleneBrennan in Hingham, Montana. hey raised theiramily o three children, Denise, Mark, and Jon.Mitchel enjoyed being a pilot and working on aircrator people. His lie was arming and agriculture andhe was an accomplished mechanic and abricator. Healso enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports,was a member o the Knights o Columbus, Queeno Angels Catholic Church, American Legion, VFW,and Cattlemans Association.

    He was preceded in death by his parents. Mitchel is survived by his wie Marlene Bengocheao Nashua, Montana, a daughter Denise Winchestero Glasgow, sons Mark (Kristina) Bengochea oNashua and Jon (Erika) Bengochea o Glasgow,grandchildren; Mack and Mitchel Winchester,Anthony and Sean Bengochea, Griin, Calvin, andSophia Bengochea, a sister Mary heresa Buchmanno Fort Peck, Montana, and several nieces andnephews.
