NOTICING CHAPTER 13 CONFIRMATION HEARINGS

Administrative Order 2015-06, went into effect December 1, 2015.

The Administrative Order delegates the noticing of the chapter 13 plan

confirmation hearing and the deadline to file objections to the plan to

the debtor(s). The initial chapter 13 confirmation hearing dates are

posted on the court’s self calendaring section. The debtors are respon-

sible for noticing of the initial chapter 13 confirmation hearing and the

chapter 13 plan (which is due within 14 days of the filing of the petition)

to all creditors. Failure to timely notice the chapter 13 confirmation

hearing and plan may result in dismissal of the case.

the Court Information link located in the bottom left corner of the

page. When the Court Information page displays, locate the RSS Feed

option and subsequently choose: Entries made in the last 24 hours -

Public Users.

A browser may be used to view the feed. Software for displaying RSS

Feeds (such as Feedreader) may also be utilized.

CHAT

The Nevada Bankruptcy Court has

implemented a CHAT service for the public.

The CHAT Help Desk answers

questions online Monday—Friday during

regular court hours. In addition, phone calls

to the Help Desk at 866-232-1266 will still

be answered.

HOLIDAY OFFICE CLOSURES

The Bankruptcy Court in Las Vegas and Reno will be closed on the following days:

Thursday, December 24th (offices will close at 12:00 PM) and remain closed through Friday, December 25, 2015 in observance of the Christmas holiday;

Thursday, December 31st (offices will close at 12:00 PM) and remain closed through Friday, January 1, 2016 in observance of the New Year’s holiday.

*Note: Any business conducted with the Clerk's Office on Thursday, December 24th and Thursday, December 31st, needs to conclude by 11:30 a.m. on those days.

CM/ECF AVAILABILITY-DECEMBER 19, 2015

The Case Management/Electronic Case Filing System (CM/ECF) for the United States

Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada will be unavailable on Saturday, December 19 begin-

ning at 5:00 a.m. and continuing until approximately 8:00 a.m. Please have your last trans-

action submitted no later than 4:55 a.m. on Saturday, December 19.

posted to the court’s website and will go

into effect on January 1, 2016.

Looking for an event in CM/ECF and can’t find it? You can search menus and events in CM/

ECF. Just click on the search menu, and then type in the word(s) to search.

AMENDMENTS

The local form for filing amendments is no

longer needed. If you are filing amended

schedules, you will need to file Official

Form 106Dec and/or Official Form 202 for

documents filed after the petition.
