Travelling MethodsDue to Taiwan’s insufficient amount of lands, the only form of travelling to the country limited to plane flights. After arriving the Taoyuan International Airport, taxis & buses could be rode that takes you to the main city, Taipei.

In Taipei, you could rent the Youbike from 225 total stations for you to explore the city with enthusiasm, green saving & minimal traffic interference. However, taking the MRT will be considered wiser if the location distance isn’t manageable in Youbike.

Furthermore, Taiwan High Speed Rail is designated if one city does not entertain you enough; HSR extends from the most north city of Taipei to the most south city of Kaohsiung, making it the most efficient transportation across Taiwan.

Feeling TaiwaneseTaiwan is a small & cozy island in Asia. The weather is warm, the humidity is overwhelming, the country is crowded & the citizens are friendly. This land, heavily

influenced by Chinese & native culture created many historical architectures & buildings as a result. Taipei 101, Father of Confederation Memorial Museum, Maokong Gondola, Temples etc. You are guaranteed to find every worthwhile attraction in Taiwan after minutes of internet researches. However, the tourist approach of Taiwan is rather boring for people who want to experience Taiwan culture; to be Taiwaned. Here’s how you can use the trip to the fullest.

Visit a 7-11. Convenience stores such as 7-11 are the most popular in Taiwan & 7-11 has heavily developed to fit customer’s interest; you can pay bills, pick up online purchased products, order fresh coffee “City Café” from the counter & purchase great food. Their mascot “Open Chan” is amazing too. Remember to wear a pair of blue/white slippers. It means I love Taiwan. Travel on foot or public vehicles & go shopping, dwell in night markets for the best stand food, go to a restaurant & drink with everyone possible customer. Taiwan is fascinating yet rather small in size. With sufficient amount of time, you could thoroughly have fun & accomplish whatever you’ve set goal to do beforehand. Taiwan is a country of joy; use your journey to the fullest.

Taiwanese CuisineTaiwan is a country known for its food. Visiting the heavenly land itself, having a hit list of your long desired Taiwanese food is important for you to experience the joy of feasting & be amazed to your heart’s content. Customer lineups are often seen if the food stands/ restaurants are excellent. The general idea is to eat what you must & follow the crowd as it leads you to the best food.

Bubble tea will never be the same as what you’ve experienced outside of Taiwan. No foreign tea competes with the most basic drink you could find in drink shops. Every restaurant has its own charm therefore has their individual customer groups. The Taiwanese street foods are so significant to the point that they represent Taiwanese culture more than restaurants. Taiwanese food is excellent in its mild but in depth flavour; neither too spicy nor salty. The friendliness of Taiwanese cuisine is what locals love & embrace. And of course, how ridiculously delicious they are. (Photos from CNN.com.)
