ii. Registration fees (excluding VAT):
Member Non-Member FAIS Members Student Exhibitor

advanced 600 € 780 € 300 € 360 € 300 €

hotel accommodation, and free car transport from and to the airport and within the city.
Keynote Lecturers and Nobel Prize Winners will receive an additional honorarium.
iv. a) Financial support for young investigators from developed countries will include
50 travel grants for 1000 € each, granted after evaluation of submitted abstract and CV,
travel grant recipients will obtain the financial support after confirming their attendance
at the Congress. Travel grant recipients will be honored with the possibility to publish
peer-reviewed full-length article in Central European Journal of Immunology
(an PTIDiK-affiliated journal) with no article publication charge -sponsored by PTIDiK.
b) Financial support for young investigators from developing countries will include
150 travel grants for 1500 € each, granted after evaluation of submitted abstract and CV,
travel grant recipients will obtain the financial support after confirming their attendance
at the Congress. Travel grant recipients will be honored with the possibility to publish
peer-reviewed full-length article in Central European Journal of Immunology
(an PTIDiK-affiliated journal) with no article publication charge -sponsored by PTIDiK.
v. Plans for Congress income – According to our above estimation, registration fees should
cover the whole costs of Congress organization. Thus, Congress income will mainly
depend on the financial support obtained from exhibitors (charges for renting the
space/stand – the expected renting charge is estimated at 300 EUR per 1 square meter of
empty space, and will gradually increase in the case of ready stand rental), possible
advertisers, and sponsors. To increase the income/costs ratio, we will also try to find
sponsors for particular expenses, e.g. preparation and publication of Congress materials.
The proposed benefits for sponsors that will support the Congress with financial support
in an amount listed is presented in attachment 6. In addition, one can assume that the
income from registration fees will be greater than expenses, especially in the case of
number of paying participants higher than 3 500.
vi. Requirement for advance funding by EFIS – We anticipate the necessity to make advance
payments in the case of Congress promotion, EXPO Convention Center rental,
transportation, catering, and Invited Speaker’s airfares. The total amount of funds
should not exceed 300 000 euros, according to very conservative estimates, taking into
account the unpredictable situations that may influence these estimates during
the upcoming 6 years.
