  • Bring Your Own Cup As a church we are trying to be environmentally friendly. We have started this past year asking you to bring your own cup to Church for your coffee or tea. The money we save on this expense will go to Missions. Thank you. Night Shelter The time is getting near for us to be helping out with the Night Shelter. If you want to get involved you can see Sally Murphy for details. We are hosting every Saturday night in March and need volunteers to help receive the supplies on Saturday and then to get them to the next host church on Sunday. Special Prayer Please keep in your thoughts and prayers, The Johnson,Sarah H., & The Thorp families this week. First Aid Course The original First aid course which was cancelled has now be shifted to Saturday 21st march, 10am at St Luke’s.     Charity of the Year 2020/21 This year the Mission Team is focusing on an International Charity. If you would like to have us consider your choice please see a member of the Mission Team—Paul/Becky Abel, Carol Waldock, Karen Willing by March 15th 2020. Voting will be at the AGM. Lent—Save Your Sacrifice Lent Starts 1st March this year, the Mission Team will be having “Save Your Sacrifice” boxes for you to save whatever money you would have spent on your favourite candy bar, coffee, or other sacrifice you are giving up for Lent. Boxes will be available in the foyer the 23rd February. All donations will benefit our Charity this year Medway Street Angels. Saturday 29th February 2020 10am to 2pm Marriage and Relationship Consultation Third Avenue Church and Community Includes lunch Be part of it. Walk of the Week Wednesday 26th February Meet at St Mary’s Island @ 10am. Wednesday 4th March Meet at Capstone Park @ 10am. All are welcome. BIG QUESTION Tuesday 3rd March at 7:30pm. The theme will be What do Jews believe about Jesus? All are welcome this is a place of open discussion and exploration on the questions of Life and Faith.
