The Friendship Class is beginning the study of the book, "Ask. Faith Questions in a Skeptical Age," by
Scott J. Jones and Arthur D. Jones. For 8 sessions we will discuss such questions as "Can
only one religion be true," and "Was Jesus' resurrection
real." We invite all who are interested to join us.
Busy Hands Fellowship
This group meets once a week and gives crafters, hobbyists and artists
the opportunity to work on their individual projects while enjoying a
time of fellowship. The group formed over the summer and had so much fun that we decided to
give ourselves an official name and continue to meet year round.
Meetings are held in the Hospitality Room on Thursdays
from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Bring a handiwork project to work on,
finished pieces for show and tell, and a sack lunch to eat when we take a break. Regulars, drop-ins and guests are always welcome.
For more information contact Kimberley Roll at 434-973-6382 or
Young Adult Education Opportunity: On Sunday
mornings, bring your children and youth to Sunday School and then
join together with other young adults in room 211 at 10:15 for a discussion of scripture. The key
question: what does this passage mean for me today?
Advent Devotion Booklet: Where have you seen God at work in the world or in your life? Everybody has a story! If you want to share
one of your stories with the congregation this Advent season, please contact Pat MacNicoll at
434-589-5956 or [email protected] for

The students really do enjoy getting the packages and it’s nice for them to know they haven’t been forgotten by their home church.
