In 2010 he started his own recruitment agency called Campbell Black, with an ambition to never cold call again, a concept, which is unheard of in the world of recruitment. Though he succeeded in this, he grew frustrated with core aspect of recruitment: the inability to quantify why one candidate succeeded in a job, over another. So jumped on a plane to the US and made a documentary with the greatest minds in analytics, including Nobel Prize Winner Daniel Kahneman and the guys behind Moneyball. The documentary became the inception of a new company, The Outside View.
