SEDIMENTS: Argillaceous siltstone with minor quartzite and conglomerate, (likely Gowganda Fm.)- well bedded siltstones, sandstones and argillite.- short sections with strong epidote alteration.15.5 - 18.3: 3C^ strong epidote sections; bedding at 25 deg to C/A.28.5 - 29.5: quartzite, light grey, medium grained, massive;contacts 25 - 30 deg to C/A.29.8 - 30.3: quartzite; as above33.0 - 33.5: l - Sum fracture along core axis, filled withsed and annealed.33.8 - 39.0: quartzite; as above39.0 - 49.5: very well bedded siltstone-argillite sequence moderatebiotite alteration on margins of argillite beds. Sections are quitebrecciated with numerous sinistral faults at 80 - 90 deg to bedding;bedding at 30 - 35 deg to C/A.47.0: Two l and 5 mm QV's with 10* Py; minor Cpy, Po;bedding at 35 deg to C/A; veins at 40 deg to C/A.49.5 - 55.3: Quartzite - massive; Upper contact is gradationalLC at 30 deg TGA.

The average clast is l - 5 cm diameter.- unit likely belongs to Bruce Fm.- The contact is indistinct over about 5 - 10 cm. 93.0 - 114.0: 101s streaky epidote alteration.

27.8 45.5 DIORITE: Mixed zone of diorite, quartzite, lamprophyre and faulting. 27.8 - 29.7: diorite; Fine grained, medium grey, massive with occasional calcite pheno to 2.0 mm. 29.7 - 31.2: black lamprophyre dike.- occasional calcite pheno as in unit above but much more mafic- broken core - fault zone - with 0.7m core recovered 31.2 - 31.5: Quartzite- pink, massive; contacts in broken core31.5 - 45.7: Dioritemedium grained, dark grey, massive.- several features appear to be inclusions; possibly offset unit but plag is not felted as typical for offset. 34.5 - 35.5: rubbly section; fault zone 45.5: contact at 15 deg TCA.
