We will have the opportunity to show that EAA spirit again. We will start the morning off like every good fly-in should, with a pancake breakfast. We are preparing delicious pancakes, sausage patties and accompanying them with fruit, juice, water, and Flying High Coffee. There is no setup and we’re starting at 6am to get the sausages cooking. While enjoying breakfast, there will be entertainment by aviation humorist Rob Machado. Kirk is maintaining the list of volunteers and has all the signup info. Aside from the breakfast staffing, we will also have both the EAA tent and the drink tent to staff as well. The EAA volunteers get cool free t-shirts. While volunteering is great, we want you to work 1-2 hour shifts, so everyone gets to see the fly-in and enjoy all that this unique event has to offer. Our chapter volunteers play a pivotal role. It was great to have nice weather and many planes in attendance. I do not know who came the farthest, however, my cousin flew in from Tea South of Sioux Falls, SD to join in the fun. A Quick Glimpse of 2015 AirVenture

The “Little Dipper” had an official EAA air-to-air photoshoot. Will we see it on a Sport Aviation cover soon?

EAA work party extended well into the AirVenture. Mark Heule and Dave Peterson (middle pic) repairing the warbird aircraft start cart. Those who worked were well rewarded, as EAA Chapter 237 was the ONLY chapter in the world invited to the EAA

B-17 AirVenture party! A very special guest appearance made by the F-35 Lightning II.

Thanks to Mark, Kirk and others we had a great chapter dinner in the camp ground Thursday evening. It was great to see some of our distant members, Dana and Paulo (middle picture).

Notice that the canopy is fully fixed from all the storm damage. Thanks to the crew and tools at the Weeks hangar!
