GAProposal1GliderAerobaticsasOlympicSportWiththeaimofputtingGliderAerobaticsintheOlympicGames,createaWorkingGroup(WG)toprepareinformationandstudypossibilitiesofhowtoreachthisgoal.Rationale:NoairsportsinOlympics.BeingpartoftheOlympicfamilywouldgiveusmorepossibilitiestogetrecognition,credibility,financing,mediaimpactandpopularity.BepartoftheIWGisthefirststep.AccordingtotheIOCwebsite,toberecognisedbytheIOC,asportmust:• FirstofallbegovernedbyanInternationalFederation(IF).Thisisrequiredinordertoconformto
theRulesoftheOlympicCharterandtheWorldAnti-DopingCode.• InordertodevelopandpromotetheOlympicMovement,theIOCmayrecognise,asIFs,

• TheStatutes,practiceandactivitiesoftheIFswithintheOlympicMovementmustbeinconformitywiththeOlympicCharter,includingtheadoptionandimplementationoftheWorldAnti-DopingCode.Subjecttotheforegoing,eachIFmaintainsindependenceandautonomyintheadministrationofitssport.

ThisCertificatewillhaveavalidityof2yearsandcanonlyberenewedby: -competinginanUnlimitedCategoryEuropeanorWorldChampionshipor -attendingaCheckSession,wheretwoInternationalJudgesscoreflightsaccordingtothecriteriaestablishedbyCIVA:
1. CIVAwillprovideCheckteamsof2internationaljudges,whowillvisitthePilot(s)atasuitableairfieldtobeagreedmutually(basetrainingcamp,nationalevent,orsimilar)tocarryoutofficialCheckSessions.ThePilot(s)willpayforallcostsrelatingtotravel,accommodationandmealsoftheJudges,theCIVAFee,whointurnwillremuneratethejudgesattending.
2. CIVAwillhavearatingexamcomprisedofflightprogrammesforpilots,whichwillbepublicandupdatedyearly.ItwillincludeaFreeKnownProgramme,anUnknownProgrammeandaFreestyleProgramme.
3. EachpilotcanflyoneseriesofprogrammesateachCheckSession.(1QFree,1Unknown,1Freestyle)
4. ThereisnomaximumnumberoftimesthatcandidatepilotscanattendCheckSessions.5. Thetariffwillbeafixedpriceforeachpilotandwillbepaidregardlessoftheoutcomeofeach
