Fr. Dailey’s Vocation Meditation

You cannot serve two masters. Whom do you choose to follow? You have to make a choice. (Luke 16:1-13) If you think God is calling you, call Fr. Gary Dailey at 413-452-0816 or email at [email protected]. Web-site: www.myvocation.com

Talk with your children about some things that they have done to show that they can be trusted. Talk a bit about what it means to be responsible. Responsibility often means that we put aside something of passing value for something of greater value. Read together the short form of today's Gospel, Luke 16:10-13. Talk about the importance of responsible use of money and our material possessions. As a family, commit to one action that you will take this week to show that your family serves God and not money.

Attention Gentlemen! Have you ever considered a call to the priesthood? Would you like to know more about it? The Melchidezek Project is a new discernment group that is starting up at Newman. This group provides you with the tools you need to discover your vocation. You do not have to want to be a priest to join. This is not a group that will try to convince you to be a priest. It is solely a discern-

ment group. It will, however, be a great experience and inspire you to deepen your faith. Join us for our first meeting on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 7pm in the Quigley Room. There will be pizza! Please RSVP to Fr. Jon if you would like to attend.
