How to Configure EWA Educational Provisioning auto alert for system requirements

Configuring Early Watch Alert (solution manager: 7.01):

Login to CMS:

SCOT Settings Default Domain

SCOT View Node click on SMTP

SCOT View Jobs Job

If a job is not running Job menu create a job SAPCONNECT with variant SAP&CONNECTALL

User ID of the user who has scheduled the job must be maintained in SU01.

SM37 SM: EXEC SERVICES / SAP Connect must be in same client.

DSWP:

Edit Automatic Email transmission Create Email Recipient :

DSWP Solutions (select solution and click on the same)

GOTO Early Watch Alert and click on create:

Select the system and click on create:

Click on confirm

The EWA shows entry for BPD

Click on the EWA configured just now:

Login to satellite system

Go to transaction SDCCN

SDCCN Task Create

Double click on refresh sessions:

It should ideally generate a task however if SDCCN is inactive we may find

We need to activate SDCCN

SDCCN utilities Activate

IF activate button is disabled or on initialization we get no authorization.

Login to CMS GOTO transaction SMSY

SMSY Environment Solution Manager Operations Administration SDCCN

Click on add and select the system for which we need to configure it.

Click on generate icon in Call SDCCN

Go to Satellite system t-code SDCCN.

Click on refresh and select maintenance package.

Edit start now

As it gets imported repeat SDCCN Task Create

Schedule it now.

List of EWA tasks appears in system

Wait till the tasks get executed

Refresh DSWP screen in SMP

Listing mail recipients

Go to SM30 Table name click on maintain (CMS)

Save the changes.
