The sample group was received on January 07, 1998. The samples were assigned Analytical Request Form (ARF) number 26739. The sample numbers and requested analyses were compared to the chain of custody. No exceptions were encountered.

Sample Preparation
The analyses were performed within holding time. The Mercury analyses were performed using a Thermo Jarrell Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer.
Analysis
All samples were analyzed within acceptable holding time. No problems were encountered.
Quality Control/Assurance
Laboratory Duplicate
The laboratory duplicate results met acceptance criteria.
Spike Recovery
An MS/MSD and an LCS were used for the spikes. All recoveries were acceptable.

The preparation blank contained no target analytes at or above reporting limits.
