    SKJD developed a plan to ensure uninterrupted garbage collection throughoutthe duration of the two-year project

    SKJD is coordinating efforts with the District Department of Public Works tomeet individual homeowner needs during construction

    The Garbage Collection Plan calls for continued Wednesday morning recycleand garbage collections for affected addresses along the freeze trench area

    and at the Construction Staging Areas SKJD will notify affected homeowners prior to construction of the Garbage

    Collection Plan for their specific block

    Residents will be asked to address-label their receptacles and identify theirback yards so work crews can ensure proper return of receptacles

    DPW will designate the west First Street alley as its first collection location andplan to pick up between 7:30AM and 8AM each Wednesday
