Array - Overview
Legal entity is Array Consulting Private Limited. ArrayGlobe.com is our web based interface
powered by our original, innovative and inhouse software called JASON (Joined Array System ONline).
Primary objective is to create overseas education opportunities to young Indians.
5 years old, based in Hyderabad. Started with a New Zealand focus.
Aspire to become the ‘Google of Global Education’ by 2015.

Client Background - SPIN
Situation - 5 to 6 lakh students go abroad to study every year - Source: TOI Report.
Market & Location - Primary sources are Punjab, Gujarat, AP, Delhi, Mumbai, Kerala, TN, but a good spread across India.
Most of them are preparing for this for years together and the families make tremendous sacrifices. The stars in the eyes are actually visible!
Problem - Advised by ‘consultants’ of ill repute or lack of adequate knowledge.

Problem - Typically a counselor advises 90% of the 5 lakh+ students going abroad.
Level of information provided is inadequate due to human limitations: Massive information dissemination is required - course,
entry & visa criteria, spouse & kids, city & country, etc, etc.
10 countries x 50 schools x 100 courses = 50,000 options!
Influenced by company diktats and patience quotient. Communication flow is not up to client’s
expectations once process starts.

Implication - Young Indian students are ending up in wrong college, course and country.
Are being made to chew their nails up to their elbows in anticipation of process information.
Need - They had to be given all possible options and the control of choice about college, course and country.
Be adequately informed at each stage. Have the convenience of starting and doing
process from anywhere.

Change - We have achieved an all India footprint and beyond! Actual registrations, not just visitors.
Improvement - The counselors and case officers do not grope in the dark any longer. Zero scope for process deviance.
Measurability - 35% increase in sales, 100% achievement in admissions and 24% increase in client retention after launch of the portal.
All this without recruiting additional staff! Better utilization of resources.

Free resource to competitors...oh yes! But at least the student is now getting honest advice.

Future additions will include other value additions to client like nearest place of worship, buddy network, find a job, work permit application, PR application, parents’ visitor visa, spouse visa, etc.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by linking revenue from each successful overseas student to an underprivileged student in India.

What stage is a registered client at? Can I give an accurate projection to my
academic staff? Can I provide ongoing training to the Array

Become a one-stop-shop to the client going abroad by marrying JASON to existing systems or through development. Fee transfer & Forex Air ticketing & Insurance - Travel &

JASON will ensure… Everything is connected to everything. Predicts need to hire staff - client is never
‘under serviced’. Automates invoicing and payment reminders
to institutions and thus maintain the revenue stream.
Maintains communication with client (student) even after landing in foreign country thus leading to cross-sell opportunities and furthering customer service and satisfaction.
Ensures compliance of processes and evolves SOPs.
Future - scale, adaptability, acceptability
Other overseas opportunities like work, migration, travel which complement education.
Remove the stigma that is prevalent in this industry through complete transparency.
Create a world standard for overseas admissions and visa processing from India.
What we have invested into JASON?
50 lakhs of Rupees as on date. 2 years of development. Dedicated team. The biggest leap of faith for a small
company to spend almost half of it’s turnover in building a proprietary software!
Our belief that this is the only way forward.

If Dell’s online promise for building and delivering customized computers can work, if MakeMyTrip.com’s promise of booking and delivering airline tickets can work, if Naukri.com’s promise of finding jobs can work...so will ArrayGlobe.com!
