  • Agenda

  • funding instruments have to be coordinated Smart funding instruments can push the topic R&D and real life tests are essential (mission oriented) E-Mobility is (almost) market ready (TRL up to 8-9) E-Mobility is NOT a 1:1 substitute for existing mobility E-Mobility provides the opportunity to re-invent mobility E-Mobility needs new applications and business models Fleet- and shared use application are promising markets

  • Thank you for your attention! The Climate and Energy Fund operatesInstantly. Medium term. Long term.

...the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund was established in 2007 by the government to give a significant boost to Austrias endeavour to reduce GHG emissions and to enable the transition to low carbon energy structures. Research in various disciplines is a prerequisite to achieve these transformations. The Climate and Energy Fund research programmes therefore address three strongly interlinked dimensions of change on national level: Climate change mitigation and adaptation Transition of energy systems with respect to a pronounced improvement in energy productivity accompanied by a change in the fuel mix (focus on renewables). Socio-economic transformationWe are .siehe oben****since our beginning in 2007 we are we are able to present - in coordination with the BMVIT - an effective portfolio of funding:Programmes concerning energy research as well as support of the market entrance of new energy technologies All in all app 43.000 projects or EUR 1.82b of private investment has been initiated, meanwhile the Climate and Energy Fund has supported more than 550 Energy Research projects with app 170 Mio EUR over the last 5 years...

At least our effectivness is approved by the federal environmental agency UBA less than 6 EUR per t CO2 reduced.a good price! reaching one important target ./. ********High capability of GHG prevention of RTD programsTo exploit this potential stimulating the market is necessary
