Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to Term 4. I hope everyone was able to take things a little slower over the holidays so we all have the energy needed to be our best for ourselves and each other throughout Term 4.

The Colour Run was great fun. Thank you to the organisers and the parents who came along to watch. Please hand in all outstanding sponsorship money.

There are many exciting things happening in Term 4. The Year 3 children are celebrating their First Reconciliation this week and the Year 6s are preparing for their Confirmation. Bishop Mark visited the Year 6s today and was very impressed with the children’s attitude and responses. We were very proud of them.

The Parents and Friends are organising our School Disco for October 25th in the Hall. It is a time for the children to get their Disco gear on and dance the night away with their friends.

The Parish Fair is also around the corner. This is a great time to celebrate together as a community and raise money for the three schools in our Parish.

Today there are many notes being sent home regarding the disco and the fair as well as the raffle tickets. Please take the time to read them carefully as there is a lot of information to take in.

There is also a note regarding the upcoming Parent/Teacher Interviews. These meetings are not compulsory as you may have all the information you need regarding your child’s progress at this stage.

We are currently planning for 2020. If you are considering moving your children to another school or even just thinking about it could you please indicate this on the form at the end of the newsletter. Our enrolments influence our staffing schedule for 2020. We will always keep your child’s position until you are certain you are moving.

If you would like to chat about your child’s placement next year please give the office a call and make an appointment to chat to me. Whilst you cannot request a teacher you may have some information about your child that we may need to consider when placing your child in a grade next year. This information would always be confidential.

CONGRATULATIONS to Jackson 5H, who will be playing in the Victorian 12 years and under cricket team. He will be representing Victoria and Emmaus Catholic Primary School in the National Championships from November 17-24. Well done!

Payment for photographs can be made on the day. Cash and card accepted.

PARISH FAIR SUNDAY 17TH NOVEMBER Grocery donations flyer has gone home today. Your donations are greatly appreciated. Raffle ticket books have gone home today. Great prizes! $30 per book. Money raised at our fair directly supports our schools.
