In what ways does your media product use, develop or

challenge forms and conventions of real media

products

Poster For my poster I made sure to use conventions

from real media products that were available in helping me to choose what I could use in my poster. I looked at a various variety of posters which helped me in being able to suite my genre and what my ideas would allow my poster match the magazine and trailer. In the Next few slides I would be discussing about what it is that I did by using some conventions from other work.

Background text.

Here on this background of tinker trailer soldier spy there is text over the face and the background of the poster which I thought would be suitable for me to use in my movie poster and instead of having it over the face of my characters I only just used it for the background of the poster so that my characters would stand out.

The Main Image

For my main images I had looked at the images used for the film The Last Song which gave me an idea of using something similar to this poster and I thought I would make my main images be something similar to the poster of The Last Song.

Title and Credits

The title and the credits that I have used on my poster is similar to what was used on tinker trailer soldier spy. However I did challenge this convention in making it my own as I used a different font and size which also included the style of how to put my credits on the poster. I used the same color code which is used and also made sure to make it my own by making sure to not make it be the same.

Expression of Characters

My trailer Is about an illness and is mainly about the female having used the expressions similar to the poster of The Last Song I used this convention well. The character had to look tensed and when taking the image I made sure that my character was looking similar to the real media product and making sure it looked real.
