CEO Address

Building on the success of our Injury Management Conference in 2015, I am delighted to announce that our biennial conference will return bigger and brighter in 2017.

The WorkCover WA Return to Work Conference 2017 will be held on 3 and 4 May at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth, with the exhibition space at the centre of Conference proceedings.

I encourage anyone with an interest in reaching over 300 injury management and return to work professionals to take advantage of this unique opportunity to showcase your organisation.

The Conference program is shaping up as a must-see for the return to work community. Across two days, local and interstate leading minds and experts will:

• encourage conversation and debate about positive pathways to return injured workers to safe and meaningful work

• examine the important roles that service providers play in the return to work journey

• discuss the ‘future of work’; and

• outline the latest trends in the workers’ compensation and injury management scheme.

With the assistance of approved service providers, return to work outcomes across the State continue to outperform the national average. But there is always more that can be done. By empowering service providers to meet current and future challenges, WorkCover WA as the scheme regulator, is driving a scheme that responds to the need for continuous improvement.

This is your chance to be part of that drive by joining the return to work community at the WorkCover WA Return to Work Conference in 2017.

I hope to see you there!
