Construction AlertStarting sometime in March, Ridgefield Parks & Recreation will begin a major renovation on their facility. As a Founders Hall member, you may be affected by the following:

• Because of the expected number of workers, there will be more people sharing the parking lot.

• Truck traffic and deliveries in and out of the campus will increase.

• If you take one of our classes at Parks & Rec, such as basketball or pickleball, gym availability may be impacted.

• If you take aquacize, the locker rooms will be under construction on a rotating basis.

The construction project is expected to run through July. We will keep you posted as we learn more. In the meantime, please carpool when possible, use extra caution in the parking lot, and be patient. Remember the bridge construction? That’s now a distant memory... this will soon be, too!

Giving Day

If you spend time online, you’re probably seeing appeals for Fairfield County’s Community Foundation’s Giving Day, a one-day, regional effort to harness the collective power of giving. While we applaud that effort, we also gratefully

recognize that many of you have just made a donation to Founders Hall in response to our February appeal letter. That’s why you will not see Founders Hall listed among Giving Day participants.

If you want to give to Founders Hall on Giving Day, you can do so directly at www.founders-hall.org. We are always grateful for your support, whenever you choose to give!
