As the parent/guardian of a minor participating in the City of Oakley’s Recreation Programs, Field Trip and Services, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury. This Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is intended to discharge in advance the City of Oakley, the Oakley Union School District, the Liberty Union High School District and its offi cers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with myself or my child/ward’s participation in said activity, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above. It is further agreed that this Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is to be binding on my heirs and assignees. Are you tired of asking your parents and friends for a ride? Are you at least 15 years of age? If so, this class is for you! This is an interactive, online course with videos, animated driving scenarios and sample test questions. Learn the rules of the road, major causes of traffi c collisions, DMV procedures and much more. You will Receive DMV-approved Certifi cate of Completion (OL237) – required for teens under 17 ½ years of age to obtain a learner’s permit and driver’s license. A licensed instructor is available to answer questions. Students must register at City Hall, 3231 Main Street Oakley. Valid email address required.

Volunteers can help in many ways including litter pick-up, weeding, planting, graffi ti removal, and other simple maintenance activities. Residents can assist with “park watch” efforts to keep our parks safe and free of graffi ti and other vandal-ism. As you and your child participate in our fun age appro-priate activities, your child will be developing their large motor skills and socialization skills. Each class will focus on scrimmages that emphasize application for fi ner technical points. All levels are wel-come to come enjoy the world’s most popular game! Each participant receives a soccer jersey. Shin guards are required. No classes February 20th.

At the successful completion of the course, students receive a Department of Fish & Game Certifi cate allowing them to purchase a State of California Hunting License. Participants will learn: respect for natural resources, respect for the fi rearm, respect for the law and the future of hunting. *Full attendance is mandatory by the State of California.
