EDDIE FARAH is a founding partner of Farah &Farah. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, on January

21, 1954, he received an undergraduate degree

from the University of Florida and his law degree

from Samford University’s Cumberland School of

Law. Eddie Farah is a member of the Jacksonville

VIOXX LITIGATION Vioxx, an arthritis and acute pain medication, was the subject of significant litigationacross the country when a clinical trial showed a dramatic increase in patient risk of heart attacks, strokes,

or other cardiovascular events. In September, 2004, drug maker Merck announced a voluntary worldwide

withdraw of Vioxx. Only after Vioxx was approved by the FDA was it revealed that Merck and its own

scientist knew that the drug had the potential to harm patients. Eddie Farah and his team represented

victims of this dangerous drug and recently received a multi-million dollar settlement for their pain,

suffering, or loss of a loved one.

TOBACCO SETTLEMENT Farah & Farah has committed the firm's resources to pursuing tobacco lawsuits for those who were victimized by decades of deception and lies about the dangers of cigarette smoking.

When a major case against Big Tobacco was decertified in 2003, it allowed thousands of Florida smokers

and the survivors of relatives who had died from smoking-related diseases to join the "class" which had

valuable legal rights. Chuck Farah and his team’s efforts recently brought $80 million in relief to the

families who had waited for justice for so long.
