The Garden Showcase within the Southern Spring Home & Garden Show provides a great venue for us to reach
potential customers. They in turn experience first hand how we can creatively build their dream outdoor living
space. With the two weekends, we were able to do just that for a couple that attended the show the first
weekend. They wanted it quickly and before the show opened the next weekend, our customer was able to enjoy
a newly built outdoor space at their home. It was a 30K job for us. The show is target marketing at its best and
provides the opportunity to effectively reach a select group of people who are interested in outdoor living when
they are remodeling or building a new home.

If you are not part of the Southern Spring Home & Garden show, you’re missing the best part of spring. The staff
with Southern Shows are fantastic and they take care of their exhibitors. This is the only show that I participate in
the spring. If you want to take your business to the next level, I suggest you make this a must in your marketing
mix.

customers that we can transform their homes from the inside out with a custom wood door or iron door from
Raleigh Door Center.

advertising campaign promoted the
Southern Spring Home and Garden
Show for three weeks through
television, radio and print as well as
outdoor, grassroots and social media.
Show sponsors and partners
increased awareness through in-store
posters and promotions. Tickets to the
show were sold in 65 Harris Teeter
stores. The show was highlighted in
27 Chevrolet dealerships, and
hundreds of retail locations.

I enjoy working the Southern Spring Home & Garden Show. I spoke to lots of show guests and received lots of
business this year from the show. I can easily say that by working the show from year to year, it does work. Just
last week I received a call from a show guest who I spoke to three years ago. If you work the leads you have,
connect with the show guests, you cannot fail. It is a great show to represent your business and yourself.

We were highlighted in the Spring Home & Garden Show program with high res images the show asked us to
send. The program was dropped to homeowners on Saturday and on Sunday we had sold the hot tub featured
in the program. We also feel like we had two to three more hot tubs sold and it was because of the Show
Program. Mardee Woodward, Executive Show Manager always takes such good care of us. Mardee has
created a relationship with us while others seem to come and go. She cares that we are successful. The shows
are always great and we look forward to a long relationship with Southern Shows.

Press releases, media alerts and personal outreach by our
Public Relations firm resulted in numerous articles about the
show that highlighted show sponsors, exhibitors, celebrity
guests and special features. In total, press clippings and
articles generated 24,439,756 impressions.

OFFICIAL SHOW PROGRAM
In addition to ads, the show was also promoted through the Official Show Program, a 36
Page full color, glossy magazine. 110,000 Copies of the program were distributed
through SouthPark Magazine, Lake Norman Magazine and The Charlotte Observer
(University Area). An additional 7,000 Copies were overprinted for distribution at the
show.
