This includes full board accommodation • Application form with short musical vita/ biography must been received by the 8th May 2016 The confirmation will be sent before the 12th June 2016. The sheet music will be sent in advance to all the participants in order for them to arrive prepared, knowing their parts. The organisation reserves the right to select players, depending on the total number of players of the different instruments, after the deadline, in order to achieve a balanced orchestra.

The History of the EGMYO:Founded in 1998 by the European Guitar and Mandolin Association (EGMA). Past projects have taken the EGMYO to various countries: Germa-ny (1998), Spain (1999, 2008, 2011), Italy (2000, 2007, 2009), Greece (2003, 2006), Luxemburg (2005), Croatia (2010, 2012) and France (2014)

Funded with Grants from the Foundation for European Culture and Education.

The Aim:The aim is to showcase an orchestra of high arti-stic quality, which can be an ambassador for the stringed instruments in Europe and which per-forms original literature.

The Participants:You should have been playing your instrument for at least 5 years and be between 16 and 27 years of age. Exceptions from this can be granted after consultation with the EGMA/ BDZ.
