English: Writing Look at Slide 1 of this presentation to revise the seven steps to writing success. Write the seven steps down so you don’t forget. Brainstorm and fill out the Plan for Success sheet below. Look at Slide 2 & 3 carefully to see how to plan a narrative. Look at how Matt Cosgrove planned his ‘Alpacas with Maracas’ story and now watch the story on Youtube.

English: Writing Use the scaffold attached in Google Classroom called ‘Physical Geography of an Asian Country’, to carry out research on the physical geographical features of the Asian country you have chosen to study. Note: Physical geographical features are natural features of the environment (mountains, rivers, forests etc). Make sure you are filling the scaffold in with your own words – not just copy/pasting text from the internet. You will need to complete this scaffold in order to be able to participate in a writing task next week.

English: Writing Read slides 4, 5 & 6 carefully. Write a short retell of a fairy tale or a story in the third person. eg The Three Little Pigs. Now rewrite it in the first person where you are one of the characters and telling the reader what happened. Write it again in the second person as if you are one of the characters and you are telling the other characters what to do.

English: Writing Pobble 365 https://www.pobble365.com/the-vacation Think about the questions posed in Question Time. Create a plan for a story based on the Story Starter given. Note: Just write a plan, not a story.

Geography: Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsOtOye-DJM Look at the list of countries attached in Google Classroom. You need to choose one Asian country from this list to study this term. You might like to do a bit of research first before you make your choice as you’ll be doing a whole project on this country. Send your teacher a message on Google Classroom, telling them what country you have chosen to study.

Creative Arts Slides 1-6 of “A Look At Asian Art” Google Slides The link will be provided on google classrooms.

Geography: Use an atlas to label the blank map of Asia that is attached in Google Classroom. If you can’t print it out, try to draw a section of it that includes your country, to label.
