Our chrome plating process, refined over the

GROHE DreamSpraytechnology is at the

shower engines feature multiple single

For convenience, comfort and safety, our

thermostats feature GROHE TurboStat

technology. By increasing the sensitivity of

the thermo element and restructuring the

internal waterways, our thermostats react

to abrupt changes in water pressure two

is reached in a fraction of a second and

GROHE products and components are tested for life.

From the ceramic cartridges that bringGROHE SilkMove

technology to our single-lever faucets to GROHE TurboStat

technology, which delivers fast and accurate temperature

control to our thermostats, our products are designed to

last and to bring comfort and enjoyment to the user.

As with any industry, there is a prescribed set of standards

that our products must meet. The GROHE Life-testing Centre

performs a number of tests to ensure that our fittings

exceed these requirements. Instead of the 90,000 tempera-

ture changes required by ISO 9001, GROHE faucets must

complete twice as many cycles equivalent to 20 years of

use before being approved for mass production. Prior to

delivery, real-life simulation checks are performed on every

single product using water or should this not be recom-

mendable for reasons of drinking water hygiene com-

pressed air.

Our products are designed to give years of trouble-free

performance, therefore even the smallest details are

important to us after 20 years of daily use, the coloured

indicators for the hot and cold water supplies on our faucets

are still as clear as the day the fitting was purchased. After

all, quality as GROHE understands it, is more than the

collections of norms and standards it is a central element

of our corporate philosophy to constantly improve and

At Grohe we believe even the most extensive testing

methods and the toughest quality requirements are not

enough. Grohe continually challenges its achievements in

product performance, technology and quality against our

leading competitors by commissioning external comparison

tests from acknowledged test institutes like TV SD or

LGA, Germany.

GROHE SilkMoveis the clear test winner

In a large-scale endurance test for single-lever mixers,

Germanys TV SD examined the mechanical wear of

products from nine renowned international manufacturers.

The test included subjecting the faucet levers to a defined

number of movements to simulate 20 years of use in a

multi-person household. In accordance with standards

DIN EN 817 and NF 077, they underwent 70,000 cycles

consisting of 210,000 open/close operations and

140,000 hot/cold operations. The result: GROHE is the

clear test winner. This impressive performance is due to

the high-quality cartridges used for all GROHE single-lever

mixers and GROHE SilkMovetechnology.

GROHE Turbostatis certified test winner

In a comprehensive test of shower thermostats by LGA,

a subsidiary of TV Rheinland, Germany, a total of

17 competing products from leading European

manufacturers were tested. The test categories were

control quality, safety, handling and service quality.

Grotherm thermostats featuring GROHE Turbostat

technologies were the undisputed test winners. For

customers that means more water enjoyment and

ultimate safety.

GROHE Rapid SL triumphs with fastest installation time

In a practical installation test conducted by REFA-Bundesver-

band, Germany, GROHE Rapid SL prevailed against products

from five major competitors. The GROHE Rapid SL with the

unique GROHE QuickFix technology, proved to be the fastest

to install. Furthermore thanks to the easy installation

complicated assembly processes are a thing of the past.

For projects in particular the Rapid SL system saves

time and therefore money.
