Houses with History Långören´s Missionshus Built 1937-38, sponsored by the ladies of the local sewing-circle. Interior restored 1955. Back wall painting by the local artist Ivar Gustafsson. Owner Långören´s ”Alliansmissionsförening” (ecumenic free church), transfered to Långören´s Community Society 1982, finally to Långören´s Cultural Society 2010. Restoration step 1, exterior 2010 financed by the governmental project ”Houses with History” 86 000 SEK, by private donations 106 000 SEK and by the Cultural Society account 6500 SEK. The building project including carpentry, painting, chimney work, plate work, etc was accomplished by the building company Jämjö Bygg in Aug-Sept 2010. The total cost was 198 500 SEK/ab. 30000 USD. Houses with HistoryLångören´s Missionshus

Built 1937-38, sponsored by the ladies of the local sewing-circle. Interior restored 1955. Back wall painting by the local artist Ivar Gustafsson.

Owner Långören´s ”Alliansmissionsförening” (ecumenic free church), transfered to Långören´s Community Society 1982, finally to Långören´s Cultural Society 2010.

Restoration step 1, exterior 2010 financed by the governmental project ”Houses with History” 86 000 SEK, by private donations 106 000 SEK and by the Cultural Society account 6500 SEK. The building project including carpentry, painting, chimney work, plate work, etc was accomplished by the building company Jämjö Bygg in Aug-Sept 2010. The total cost was 198 500 SEK/ab. 30000 USD. Besides this, local inhabitants did 550 hours volunteer work (transports, basic painting, etc).
