Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time _ __SEPTEMBER 29, 2019

Pill’s of Faith

RCIA

My brothers and sister, this Sunday as we welcome into our parish family three new Catechumens and candidates who are now part of the RCIA program.

RCIA Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

It is the process through which unbaptized adults and older children are formed in the teaching and practices of Catholicism and are initiated into the Catholic Church. It is marked by various rites and rituals, which usually occur at Sunday Mass. Our process this year includes James Holt, Darlene Rossi, and Jose Cruz, who will be baptized, confirmed, and will receive their First Communion at the Easter Vigil of 2019. So I ask you to help me welcome them into our Catholic faith and our parish family. Let us accompany them with our prayers, as they prepare each week to receive these beautiful sacraments of initiation. Our Catholic Faith isn’t so much a set of be-lieves, although we do have them, but more of a relationship that starts with our Lord and develops as we observe and encounter him in our lives. So let us enjoy our relation-ship with God and one another as we grow together in faith and love.

Immaculate Heart of Mary,

pray for us! Fr. Carlos
