The issue of road accident seems very common among Malaysians and even foreigners know the fact that Malaysia is listed among the countries that has the highest

statistics of road accidents. This issue is very important because road accident give many bad effects to everyone. In short, we can say that the impact of road accidents is major

loss in terms of individual, family and country.

First of all, road accidents affect individuals. Obviously, ones will lose self-confidence after involving in road accident whereby she or he is traumatized and afraid to make the mistake while driving thus stop driving. Especially for beginners that just

getting driving license, maybe they not purposely do the mistake but the accident happened by slip of fate because they are not well-trained and immature thus more

experienced driver took advantage on them. This will decrease their self-esteem and these immatures will continue blaming themselves. Furthermore, the injury from the accident can usually be very disastrous and took years to cure. As an example, the

explosion of vehicle will burn victim’s skins and even face that result a bad appearance to the victim. By time, the physical pain might be cured but not the internal pain due to the hideous scars from the road accident. Therefore, victims endure both external and

internal loss.

Secondly, road accidents affect the continuity and sustainability of a family institution. As we know, most accidents are disastrous. Even there is no fatality,

someone might involved in prolonged injury. Unfortunately, we do not realise much the role of the victim. If someone get hurt, others have to feel the pain to. Therefore, if the

victims are adults with children, their child will also endure the suffering. Furthermore if it involving death. Surely, their child will have nowhere to rely to and they might need to

stay at the orphanage and even if not, these poor children still have to grow without parents. So, there is no more the institution of parents and children so-called family. On

the other hand, sufferings are endless even if the parents are not death but having prolonged injury. This will effects the financial and economical condition of the family because parents are unable to do proper work as usual due to their physical condition.

Having said that, most probably their children will took responsibility to get extra earning and thus effecting their studies. Therefore, the family will screwed up.
