Our Plan for Packing

1. Acquire boxes, labels, and packing tape 2. Weed - Weed - Weed3. Replace old call numbers/clean-up
catalog records4. Begin with Reference,
Classroom sets, Biographies, Nonfiction, and Fiction
5. Do an inventory scan as books are put in the boxes.

Things We Would Do Differently
1.Begin one year earlier.2.Label and number the boxes
differently.3.Use different colored paper and/or
markers for each genre.4.Pack boxes lighter.5.Save classroom sets that had been
used that year until the end.6.Find out the Board's vision of how
the new library would look.7.Put book drop somewhere else and have a gate on one side of circ desk.
