Information from the Principal
Dear Parents,
The end of the first quarter is November 1st! Report cards should arrive in the
home by November 15th. Please contact the school if you do not receive your
student’s report card. If your student needs some extra support, please
encourage them to check in with their teachers to see when
tutoring is available, or you can view the tutoring schedule on our
website at sutter.scusd.edu.
This year, local comprehensive high schools will be hosting “High School
Visitation Nights” and “Visitation Days.” Please visit our website at
sutter.scusd.edu for the latest information. As soon as we get information
from the high schools it is placed on our website and in our weekly bulletin.
You can also find high school information on our PTSO website at
sutterptso.com.
At this time, we are scheduling visitation days for current sixth graders
who are considering Sutter Middle School in the Fall via the Open
Enrollment process. We have scheduled 4 visitation days in
December, the 9th-12th and 4 visitation days in January, the 13th-16th.
Visitation times will begin at 8:45 am. Please contact our Office Manager,
Ms. Juhlin, at 264-4150 Ext. 1010 to schedule a visit.
Our annual Jog-A-Thon is scheduled for November 6th and 7th, and your
student should already be collecting donations for a chance to earn some
incredible prizes. Funds raised by this event will help beautify our campus
and support enrichment activities.
Lastly, Sutter will be collecting non-perishable food items starting Wednesday,
November 13th through Wednesday, November 20th for Thanksgiving food
baskets that will be given to our Sutter Community.
Sincerely,
Principal
