Work with partners who share our passionWe will ask you to ensure that your localpartners do what is necessary to make theprogramme work in your area. For example,NHS Trusts and Local Authorities will need to work together on providing the right multidisciplinary learning environment.

We will also want to get to know your partners to make sure that they, like you, arecommitted to realising the impact of socialapproaches in mental health.

Employ participants in appropriate settings in Year TwoYou can place YearTwo participants whereyour need is greatest, but their role must be in a mental health team. Their contract withyou should be fulltime for 12 months, with the usual salary for a newlyqualifiedsocial worker.

You will be asked to manage their Assessedand Supported Year in Employment, includingensuring an appropriate caseload.

Support participants to study alongside their workThey need to attend 24 teaching days awayfrom your service in Year One, and eight inYear Two. They will also have fortnightly shortmeetings in the workplace with theirAcademic Tutor.
