IntroductionAt International Schools Partnership (ISP), we want to continually provide collaborative learning opportunities across our schools, and, therefore, it is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of the fi rst ISP International Summer Camp to be held in July 2019.

The ISP International Summer Camp is an experience that promises to off er students amazing and diverse learning opportunities in a fully immersive English environment, whilst having fun and making new friends, all within safe and secure surroundings. This year the summer camp will be held at Kehoe-France, our school in New Orleans, Louisiana in the USA.

Kehoe-France has nearly 70 years of experience running US summer camps for children and students in their facilities set over 14 acres, with swimming pools, tennis courts, a gymnasium, arts and crafts areas, computer labs and numerous playing fi elds. The school has been recognised for over 60 years throughout the US for the outstanding summer camp provision it off ers.

A diverse and exciting programme is being organised for the fi rst ISP International Summer Camp. Some examples of the opportunities available include taking part in academic challenges, leadership development activities and sports competitions; exploring the vibrant music scene of New Orleans; cooking and sampling the famous local cuisine; experiencing the great American outdoors; and building long-term friendships with students in the USA and from around the world.

We will provide signifi cant educational opportunities and learning experiences for students. This will include daily journal assignments and objectives to ensure students enter each activity or experience understanding the learning opportunity involved. We will also have specifi c educational opportunities related to computer science, robotics, team-building, and problem-solving, all critical skills for today’s students. The element of cultural exchange provides an expanded worldview that will enhance student perspectives at a formative point in their life. Taking part in cultural activities and spending time with peers from other parts of the world in a camp setting will provide a truly international collaborative learning experience for students.
