Commissioner in the Community:
Commissioner Segerblom stop by the Summer Safety
Open House at Station 31 on Saturday, June 10. It was
a really great turnout for the community.
The project includes reconstruction of Eastern Ave from Flamingo to Desert Inn pavement, medians,
some sidewalk and curb replacement in certain areas. This construction will last approximately six (6)
months.
Update: Public Works has been advised that repaving on Maryland Parkway will start in late July.
Plans to start milling and overlaying the new pavement on Eastern Avenue will begin mid-August.
Both projects are still on schedule to be completed on time. For more information on construction
projects, please visit Maryland & Eastern page on Clark County’s website for project exhibits and
information. As always, please be patient and keep a watchful eye while driving through these
construction zones.
Future Project: Removal of roundabout located at Sahara and Hollywood. More information to come!

Commissioner Segerblom recently participated in the ribbon cutting of the New Senior Pantry Program located at Rochelle Pines Apartment Homes. Nevada HAND and partner Three Square celebrated this grand opening in our community. This new location is the third food pantry at an independent senior community. With the opening of this new facility, it enables residents to regularly have access to fresh produce, dairy, frozen protein, and other staples of a well-balanced diet. Welcome to the neighborhood!
