Jamestown College offers something other colleges don’t. We call it the Jamestown Journey to

Success. Follow each step on your Jamestown Journey to Success, and we guarantee you can

graduate in four years. Here are the steps. Your journey begins now.

Look inward to discover your passion in a small

liberal arts college with outstanding pre-professional

programs and unsurpassed student support

Look outward to the possibilities for involvement

and service your passion can unlock — with the help of

teachers and advisors — from the day you enter college

through graduation

internship, a semester abroad, and other career-

focused learning experiences

Look forward to graduation and success with

the advice and support from faculty mentors and

friends while you chart your course with our proven

“ Jamestown College is amazing in my book. College is a huge change, and I knew no one when I arrived. The people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had really helped me on my way.”

2Get a head start Every journey starts with a single step — make yours

the right one. During your freshman year, you, your advisors, and student

mentors collaborate on your Personal Inventory that maps interests and

strengths against possible major areas of study and career paths. Focused

on your success, it’s your roadmap to reaching your goals.

LOOKBegin your journey by reflecting on your abilities, interests and goals with

the help of professors, Advisors and student mentors.

major field of study, you’ll face each new challenge with increasing confidence.

That’s because exploring new ideas, guidance toward your professional goals,

Follow each step on your Jamestown Journey to Success, and you’ll save what it would have cost to graduate in five or six years at another school.

Residence halls are the heart of campus life, and your hall is where you’ll make friends for life. Some halls feature grand pianos in lounge areas, others are perfect for receptions. Choose from traditional halls and suite-style buildings with all the conveniences: computers, printers, 24-hour access to library and campus resources via high-speed Internet access, free parking, and more. Don’t overlook the homemade cookies and cakes next to all the healthy fare in the campus dining hall!

“always something happening…”

The Student Activity Office plans at least one campus event per week, but the fun doesn’t stop there... the cam-pus is alive with games and activities in residence halls, school-wide dances, concerts, invited speakers, and more.

Learning the business of business

The Community Alliance for Manage-ment Consulting program (CAMC) partners students with the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. Juniors and seniors work in supervised teams to provide consulting services in business planning, marketing research, advertising and promotions, information systems, accounting and finance, and human resources.

your Jamestown transcript shows how you did

in class, and it includes what you did outside of

class. It’s evidence to potential employers and

graduate school selection committees of who you

are, not just what you studied. It helps you stand

apart and above the competition.
