From the Pastor : Written on Tuesday, April 21 st …. We are here! Praise God! It’s been a long time coming. 3 weeks of packing boxes, 2 personal vehicles, 2 rental trucks, a father, a mother, 6 children, 2 deacons, and a dog bigger than most people. All that was just to get here. Then Friday came along and we had a lot of help to unload the trucks. People are still dropping by with food, and we can’t thank you enough, especially since we have not unpacked the pots and pans as of yet. You are all showering us with prayer and love. A gift that cannot be forgotten. We are going to have a few more weeks of unpacking while trying to figure out where everything needs to go. I thank you for your patience during this time period. This got me thinking about the Israelites as they were wandering for forty years. They were constantly packing and unpacking, not just the Tabernacle, but everything they had. This wasn’t an easy task, I’m sure. On each side of the temple, there were enough people to fill the city I came from. 157,000 people to the North of the Tabernacle of Meeting; 151,450 people to the South; 186,400 to the East; 108,100 to the West; and this did not even include the tribe of Levi. And we had trouble moving 8 people! My point is, God is good. He used all these people to work together to get the job done, just as all the people at Stanford Baptist Church helped my family move home. Thank you for your help. I look forward to being part of this family for a very long time. Love You All In Christ, Bro. Musically Speaking

Stuart Underwood, Minister of Music

Thanks to George Munday for a beautiful offertory of "Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus". Also the Adult Choir did a great job on the fast paced anthem "The Church of the Living God". This Sunday Becky and Laura Lee will be playing our offertory. The Adult Choir will be singing "Calvary Is the Sea" with soloist Becky Hacker.

Have a great week! Stuart
