favorites and one of kind finds with our guests. We encourage you to expand your palette and experiences

with these rotating features.

FEL Wines produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris grown in the Anderson Valley and on the Sonoma Coast. These cool climate regions are known for producing wines of bright acidity and considerable complexity. Crafted by Winemaker Ryan Hodgins, FEL bottlings consistently offer the elusive combination of concen-tration and elegance.

The signature of component of the Anderson Valley Chardonnay is its bright fruit and fresh flavors that are on full display due to the absence of new oak or malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Profile:Lifted floral aromatics waft from the glass of this citrus-driven Chardonnay. Notes of lemon zest, white grapefruit, and Key lime, are complemented by hints of juniper, struck flint, and melon. The blend of citrus flavors continues in the mouth with an abundance of fresh lemon and orange zest. The juicy finish is carried by notes of lemon balm with zippy acidity.

Vin Santo del Chianti Classico Tuscany, ITA 22 glassExtremely rare, as only small quantities are produced, this is a typical, traditional Tuscan dessert wine.Enhanced by the creation of the DOC Vinsanto del Chianti Classico, today Badia a Coltibuono’s Vinsanto is one of the best raisin wines in the world

Graham’s 20 year, Tawny Port Douro Valley, PRT 18 glassExcellent bouquet; with a characteristically nutty character and delicious mature fruit; hints of orange peel; exquisitely mellowed by careful ageing. Rich, softly sweet and smooth; perfectly balanced with a long and elegant finish. Pairs extremely well with nuts, dried fruits and fruitcake, as well as vanilla ice cream and crème brûlée.

Sandeman Founders Reserve, Porto Douro Valley, PRT 10 glassNamed in honour of the Founder, this Reserve is one of Sandeman´s greatest Portos. Selected fromthe finest lots of each vintage and aged for 5 years. Intense ruby red colour, brilliant and clean. Rich red fruit aromas with a touch of age create an elegant reflection of powerful flavours, the fruit and fire characteristic of young classic Porto balanced with the finesse of age.

Smith Woodhouse, LBV 2000 Douro Valley, PRT 13 glassVintage Port is aged in oak casks for two years before being transferred unfiltered to the bottle, where it has the potential to mature for decades. This has a relatively simple nose of liquorices, sous-bois, smoke and a touch of marjoram. It does not quite have the purity I was expecting. The palate has a ripe, harmonious, seamless entry, a lovely mid-palate of fruitcake, raisin, spice, ginger, and red-berried fruits. Not the structure that is so important here, but the natural sense of cohesion and the graceful finish.

Warres 10 year “Optima”, Tawny Port Douro Valley, PRT 20 glassWarre’s Otima 10 Year-Old-Tawny reflects the complexity and finesse acquired from prolonged ageing in sea-soned wood. The translucent copper coloured tone of the wine is matched by the beautiful soft nutty aromas gained by a full twenty years ageing in seasoned oak casks. OTIMA 10 Years is rich and delicate, but never cloying; the tannins and acidity ensure balance and perfect length.

WHISKYThe main difference between scotch and whisky is geographic, but also ingredients and spellings. Scotch is whisky made in Scotland, while bourbon is whiskey made in the U.S.A, generally Kentucky. Scotch is made mostly from malted barley, while bourbon is distilled from corn. If you’re in England and ask for a whisky, you’ll get Scotch. But in Ireland, you’ll get Irish whiskey.

BOURBONThe Federal Standards of Identity for Bourbon stipulate what is and what isn’t bourbon. For a whiskey to call itself bourbon, its mash, the mixture of grains from which the product is distilled, must contain at least 51% corn. The mash must be distilled at 160 proof or less, put into the barrel at 125 proof or less, and it must not contain any additives. The distillate must be aged in a new charred oak barrel.

WHISKEYWhether it is whisky or whiskey has been the basis of many arguments over many years. The Scots spell it whisky and the Irish spell it whiskey, with an extra ‘e’. This difference in the spelling comes from the translations of the word from the Scottish and Irish Gaelic forms. Whiskey with the extra ‘e’ is also used when referring to American whiskies. This ‘e’ was taken to the United States by the Irish immigrants in the 1700s and has been used ever since. Scotland, Ireland and America all have a rich heritage in the whisky industry.
