Theme: “LIVE THE ANIMO THROUGH FAITH, SERVICE AND COMMUNION”
Reading: Matthew 21:28-32
"What do you think? A man had two sons; and he went to the first and said, `Son, go and work in the vineyard to-
day.' And he answered, `I will not'; but afterward he repented and went. And he went to the second and said the
same; and he answered, `I go, sir,' but did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said, "The first."
Jesus said to them, "Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before
you. For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the
harlots believed him; and even when you saw it, you did not afterward repent and believe him."
Reflection: What kind of future are you preparing for? Jesus encourages us to think - to think about the consequences of our
choices, especially the choices and decisions that will count not just for now but for eternity as well. The choices we
make now will affect and shape our future, both our future on earth as well as in the life of the age to come. To be
educated in La Salle Green Hills is a gift, a blessing that entails huge responsibility to make our presence marked
with utmost commitment to embrace quality education and the ideals of our founder, St. John Baptist De La Salle.
Do you make the most out of your presence in this school?
Prayer: "Lord Jesus, change my heart that I may only desire that which is pleasing to you. Help me to respect your will and
give me the strength, joy and perseverance to carry it out wholeheartedly."
Bulletin Daily LA SALLE GREEN HILLS - HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT - MANDALUYONG CITY

Lasallian Core Value: COMMUNION
Graduate Attribute: Cares for the Earth De La Salle himself never spoke of the care of the earth in his writings. Yet, he often spoke of the need for his Brothers to teach to children the truths of our religion. You must show the Church what love you have for her and give her proof of your zeal, since it is for the Church that you work. You have become her minister through the commission God gave you to preach his work to these children. (Meditations)
The awareness of our calling as stewards of the earth is a more recent development in our understanding of the Christian vocation. In the light of the ecological crisis, there is an urgent need to educate for a stewardship that grow out of a respect for creation and a sense of interdependence of all life. That the Lasallian sees himself as committed to caring for the earth is consistent with the thought of De La Salle to educate young people in the truths of our faith. While activities like tree-planting, recycling and shore clean-ups are worthwhile, an education for stewardship must aim at change of attitudes, life-styles, and patters of consumption based on a clear vision of the interconnectedness of all created things.
LA SALLE GREEN HILLS VISION-MISSION
Core Identity and Purpose
La Salle Green Hills is a Catholic educational institution inspired by the charism of St. John Baptist de La Salle. We are committed to providing greater access to human and Christian education as we form
learners into responsible citizens who live the Gospel.

2. Service – In our zeal for our service, we cultivate a culture of compassion and excellence that empowers us and the underserved to build a society characterized by justice, peace and integrity of creation.
3. Communion – Together and by association, we build a nurturing community that creates and sustains synergy in
living out our shared responsibility of providing accessible quality education.
