I’m sure we would all like to thank Lisa for her hard work over the last two years. We desperately need somebody to replace her and I hope someone will step up in time for the AGM in January. Without an effective committee we will have no club! I was sad to hear Mrs. Tiggywinkle (Deborah Goldsmith) passed away in March. You may remember she taught us wigging in March last year. Although her business was sold there were a lot of bits & pieces left over and it was kind of her partner John Litchfield to think of us. Paul and I made two trips over to her house near Ashby to get them. You can still see her amazing work on Facebook. Gaynor is organising a Christmas Dinner evening at ‘The Hedgehog’ Stafford Road, Lichfield on Wed. 10th December, cost £22.00. If you are interested in going please let Gaynor know asap and give her a deposit of £5 per person so that she can book. October meeting Apologies were received from Pat, Laurie & June, June & Dave, Doreen Smith and Lisa. We are in receipt of a large collection of items from the late Mrs. Tiggywinkle. We will bring these along for sale to members at reasonable prices to the November meeting. There are beads, doors and windows, furniture, lighting etc, some new, some used. Please bring some cash! The funds raised will be used by the club to book speakers or buy kits for future meetings. We have also been given a collection of books by former club member Nicky Bott. We hope to set up a library so members can borrow them. The raffle was won by Olivia and Bob. The evening was led by Ann who showed us how to make illuminated pumpkins for Halloween out of Fimo.
