Mon., March 30 – CHICAGO/EN ROUTE Today we depart Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on our overnight flight to Dublin, Ireland! (I)

Tues., March 31 – DUBLIN / DONEGAL After landing at Dublin Airport our Driver/Guide will welcome us to Ireland. Our day begins as we travel northwest across the beautiful Irish countryside. We’ll end the day in County Donegal at one of Ireland’s most renowned castle hotels, Lough Eske, for dinner and overnight. (I,D)

Wed., April 1 – DONEGAL Today we’ll explore Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way, which will provide us with an astounding panorama from the Slieve League Cliffs, which are three times the height of the Cliffs of Moher. On a clear day you can see right across to Sligo and Leitrim and all the way to the mountains of the Mayo coast. Then we’ll take our adventure north to the Glenveagh National Park and Castle. The castle gardens are regarded as one of Ireland's outstanding horticultural masterpieces. Next we’ll travel to the Grianan of Aileach, a hilltop stone fort dating from 1700 BC, where we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of three counties and the rugged Donegal coastline, before returning to Donegal. Thurs., April 2 – DONEGAL / WESTPORT This morning we’ll depart Donegal and travel along the Wild Atlantic Way. Our first stop will take us into Sligo, a vibrant coastal town known for its literary and musical heritage. Along the way we’ll stop at Drumcliffe Churchyard, which lies in the shadow of Benbulben and contains the final resting place of Nobel Laureate, W.B. Yeats. His simple headstone contains the words of his self-penned epitaph, “Cast a cold Eye on Life, on Death – Horseman pass by.” Leaving Sligo we’ll head to Westport, one of Irelands tidiest towns full of quaint shops, pubs and restaurants that make Westport officially "The Best Place to Live in Ireland." We’ll check in to our hotel, Castle Court, and this evening we’re in for a special treat featuring dinner and traditional Irish music and entertainment. (B,D)

Fri., April 3 – WESTPORT Today we travel to Achill Island for some of the most stunning scenery on the Wild Atlantic Way. First inhabited 5,000 years ago, Achill Island is Ireland's largest island, offering beautiful views and equally spectacular beaches. After time for lunch, we’ll enjoy more of the Wild Atlantic Way on the Achill coast. Lush green hills, jagged mountain edges, wooly mountain sheep, golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters are the definition of what Mayo’s Wild Atlantic Way have to offer. On our return to Westport the remainder of the day is at leisure for independent exploration and craic. (B)

Sat., April 4 – WESTPORT / GALWAY After breakfast this morning, we travel through the rugged yet serene Connemara region. We’re headed to picturesque Kylemore Abbey, a castellated neo-Gothic mansion occupied by an Irish Benedictine community of nuns, where we’ll have an opportunity to walk the abbey grounds. Then we’re off to Lough Corrib where we’ll embark on a narrated cruise of the lake. We’ll have opportunity to view the abundance of wildlife including birds and hawks, otters, mink, stoat, frogs, bats and much more. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy lunch and a drink on board, as well as fabulous views of the world’s best castle hotel, Ashford Castle. We’ll end our day of travel in the city of Galway, with dinner and overnight at the Galmont Hotel and Spa. (B,D)

Sun., April 5 – GALWAY After breakfast this morning a ferry will take us across to Inishmore, the largest of the three Aran Islands. We’ll enjoy stunning coastal views, see the seal colony, and several large prehistoric stone forts, including the Iron Age promontory fort of Dun Aengus. Protected for centuries by their isolation, the islands today are a bastion of traditional Irish culture - it’s like going back in time. Afterward we’ll return to our hotel for an afternoon and evening at leisure to explore the many pubs and shops in Galway. (B)

Mon., April 6 – GALWAY / ADARE This morning we depart Galway and make our way to Rathbaun Farm, a working sheep farm, where we’ll enjoy tea and scones, and watch the sheep dog maneuver the flock. Then we’ll make our way into County Clare and the impressive Dromoland Castle, where we’ll enjoy Mrs. White’s Afternoon Tea for the prettiest selection of treats along with specially selected loose leaf teas from around the world. Then we’ll have the chance to get up close and personal with mesmerizing falcons, hawks and owls in the ancient woodlands on an unforgettable Dromoland Castle falconry experience. Next we’ll travel to the village of Adare, billed as Ireland’s prettiest village, where we’ll stay at the Dunraven Arms Hotel. (B,L)

Tues., April 7 – ADARE Today is free in Adare, where you’ll have an opportunity to stroll along the town’s Main Street of thatched houses, colorfully painted storefronts and beautiful gardens. This evening we’ll walk down to the heart of Adare Village to Bill Chawke’s Bar. We’ll enjoy dinner and some of the traditional music they’re famous for, bringing musicians and music lovers from around the country. (B,D)

ARRANGEMENTS: The tour price is based on a minimum participation of 30 persons and includes planning, handling and operational charges and is quoted on the current rate of exchange, tariff rates and estimated airfares in effect as of July 1, 2019. In the event of a marked increase or decrease in foreign currency or in tariff rates, the cost is subject to revision.

TOUR PRICING: This is a package tour in which land tour costs and special group airfares have been combined in the most advantageous way. Should you wish to take the land tour only or deviate from the package tour by changing your departure and/or return dates of travel, this will eliminate the advantages of the package tour price and special group airfares. There will be a service charge of $100 per person for altering the airline itinerary, plus any additional charges assessed by the airlines.

CANCELLATION: If after making your initial deposit you find it necessary to cancel from the tour for any reason, there will be a charge of $100 per person up to 90 days prior to departure. For cancellation between 89 and 60 days prior to departure, there will be a cancellation charge of $300 per person. For cancellation within 59 days of departure, in addition to the $300 per person charge, there may be additional cancellation charges from the airline, hotel(s), or ground service companies up to the full value of your tour cost. TRAVEL PROTECTION: You have been given the option of purchasing Travel Protection at the time you sign-up for the tour. Plans help protect you and your travel investment and help provide coverage for unexpected circumstances. The premium for the plan is non-refundable after the 14 day free look period and rates are based on trip cost. Group plans require a minimum participation of 10 travelers. PASSPORTS AND VISAS: Your tour requires a passport valid for 6 months beyond the return date of travel. If you do not already have your passport, or it will expire within 6 months of the return date, we suggest you apply for it immediately. No visas are required for your tour. However, if you are a citizen of a country other than the United States, you must advise us in writing with your Reservation Application, as other travel documents may be required.

AIRLINE TICKETING/SEATING: If a ticket requires a name change because of incorrect information supplied to our office, the traveler is responsible for any applicable charges. Group air reservations are handled differently than individual reservations, and each airline has their own guidelines and restrictions on seat assignments and upgrades. If you wish to have a specific seat pre-assigned, or would like to upgrade, you must e-mail your request to mary@intertravcorp.com. The cost for specific pre-assigned and/or upgraded seats varies, as does the time frame we are able to make the request with the airline. Every effort is made to ensure requests are honored, however the responsibility is with the airline and beyond the control of InterTrav Corporation.

SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING PRICING: The tour price as quoted is based on tariffs in effect for estimated 2019 prices as of July 1, 2019. Tour prices do increase every year, and it is therefore possible that increases could occur after the printing of this brochure in advance of your tour’s departure. InterTrav Corporation will do everything possible to avoid an increase in the tour cost. However, should increases occur in airfares, hotel prices, and/or coach transportation costs, they will be added to the tour cost and passengers will be notified accordingly. Should an increase in price occur, notifications will be sent to tour members in writing no later than 15 days prior to departure.

The right is reserved to substitute the airline to be used; the type of aircraft; and to alter the dates of the tour; the tour routing; or to cancel the trip if a minimum number of bookings is not reached for either the air or land portion of this itinerary. The right is also reserved to substitute hotels for other hotels in available categories. Further, the right is reserved to decline to accept or to retain at any time any person as a participant on any tour or to cancel any tour. No refund will be made for voluntary absence from the tour unless arrangements are made at the time of booking. The schedules contained herein are subject to change without notice. All rates are based on current Tariff and Exchange rates in effect at the time of the printing of this itinerary and are subject to adjustment without prior notification in the event of changes therein or in changes in the number of participants on which the rates are based. The passage contract in use by carrier concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carrier and the purchaser of this tour.
