Which Training is better suited for “my” crew?
Use of simulators (Bridge/Engine/Cargo) provides a risk free environment for mistakes, also giving the possibility of the trainee to learn from his/her mistakes.
Trainee can use the CBT limitless times in order to properly understand and at his/her own pace become a well-trained seafarer
Repetition is mother of all knowledge

Overview of performance & competence

All in ONE
How can we summarize and utilize?
www.abcmaritime.ch
1. Shore personnel as well as Officers on board can follow up the specific training that seafarer has undergone, the results as well as any comments that his senior officer or shore personnel have inserted in the past.
2. Shore side can test the seafarer on the specific training he/she has received on board the vessel and therefore monitor not only the level of knowledge of this particular seafarer, but through collecting training records and analyzing the outcome of the training quality on an individual vessel, we can establish a trend on whether there is improvement needed on the training performed on this particular vessel.
3. On board, the Senior Officer is immediately aware of the areas that the seafarer has been tested upon and has been found to be competent; also he is becoming aware regarding the areas that the seafarer should improve his competence.
4. The seafarer is aware that the Training Booklet will be following him/her and therefore will not be able to avoid training that he/she is required to undertake in order to improve his/her competence.
