The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia invites you to Get Smart and confirm your support now for Medicines Management 2013, the 39th SHPA National Conference, 19–22 September 2013, Cairns.

Supporter participation is a very important feature of the Medicines Management conferences and the industry exhibition, which conference delegates always look forward to, provides direct access for supporting companies to leading pharmacy practitioners. Please visit the conference website www.mm2013shpa.com for feedback from Supporters of MM2012 in Canberra where we had our largest exhibition ever.

As always there will be numerous opportunities for supporters to interact with conference delegates with the welcome reception, tea breaks, lunches and poster viewing all being held in the exhibition hall.

SHPA Medicines Management Conferences always attract a large number of delegates with an average of 900 delegates each year. The 2013 Scientific Committee have put together an innovative, diverse and engaging program which will ensure another successful continuing professional development event.

The supporter prospectus offers a variety of packages and is designed to provide numerous opportunities for participating companys’ brand exposure before and during the conference. The Journal of Pharmacy Practice and Research, the premier pharmacy publication in Australia has been the official journal of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia since 1966.

The Journal aims to assist in the development of innovative pharmacy practice and research and to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas for pharmacists and technicians from all practice settings. The current circulation is approximately 3000. The Journal continues its high standards as a peer-reviewed journal reaching members of SHPA, Australian pharmacy schools, kindred pharmacy organisations in Australia and overseas and a number of institutional and individual subscribers. In 2013 the Journal will be published in March, June, September and December.

Terms and conditionsThe Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia will hereafter be referred to as ‘the organisers’.

• Support packages will be allocated in order of receipt of booking forms.

• The organisers accept no liability for damage to exhibits by loss, damage, theft, fire, water, storms, strikes, riots, or any cause whatsoever. Supporters are advised to insure against such liability.

• The organisers reserve the right to change the venue and duration if circumstances demand at their discretion. The supporter will indemnify the organisers in respect of any claims and demands in respect thereof. The supporter must take out adequate insurance in respect of all claims.

• The organisers reserve the right to alter the exhibition floorplan.

• The supporter has no right to use the MM2013 or SHPA logos unless authorised by SHPA

• exhibits must not be removed and displays must not be dismantled either partly or in total before CloSING TIMe on the last day of the exhibition. All exhibits and display material must be removed by the time indicated in the supporters manual.

• Supporters may only conduct competitions or offer prizes with the permission of the organisers.

• The Supporter undertakes that they will not hold any events, educationals or social functions at the same time as official Conference Program sessions or social functions.

• Support deposits are non-refundable. For cancellation of support at least 2 months prior to the commencement of the exhibition, full payments will be refundable if the organisers are able to re sell the package.

• For cancellations less than 2 months prior to the commencement of the exhibition, all payments are non-refundable.

Payment details• An invoice will be sent on receipt of the booking

confirmation form.• SHPA payment terms are 30 days• If payment is not received within 30 days of receipt of the

invoice your booking will be cancelled.
