No open-toed shoes. Only white colored socks or tights may be worn under skirts and skorts. Sweaters worn inside the building must be solid navy blue. Cardigans or sweater vests only . No sweatshirts, fleece, or jackets. No clothing with hoods allowed. Outerwear (Coats, jackets, hats, scarves & gloves): Students may wear their choice of outerwear to school; NO outerwear may be worn inside the building; CLA school spirit shirts may be worn on Fridays only and on designated days. NOTE: Earrings may be worn only by female students and only on the earlobes. No more than one per ear and must not be oversized. Hairstyles (including but not limited to: spiked hair longer than 2”, or unnatural hair color/cuts/designs) that draw undue attention to a student are not allowed; Shirts shall be worn tucked in if longer than normal fitting. Medallions/chains shall not be worn outside the shirt; Students may not wear make-up; No more than two bracelets may be worn on each wrist. If an administrator determines that a student’s grooming or clothing violates the dress code, the student shall be given an opportunity to correct the problem at school. If not corrected, the student must have a parent/guardian bring appropriate attire to change into or be sent home.
