Scope: Enrichment courses are available to Moorestown students and non-resident students. Specific
information pertaining to course content is included.

Classes Meet Monday-Friday
Morning Program: 8:30am-11:45am
Afternoon Program: 12:15pm-3:30pm
Full Day Program: 8:30am-3:30pm (11:45am-12:15pm Lunch)
* Look for “Mix and Match” options, which allow you to schedule two different classes in the same day and save!
Monday-Friday Full Day Price: $435
*Please have your child bring a snack for half day classes and a lunch for full day/ Mix and Match programs.
Before and After Camp Care: Before and after camp child care will be offered for an additional fee. Schedule
the care you require around your child’s favorite camp courses! Please refer to the chart below for pricing.

*Students attending the After Camp Care Program should be picked up promptly. Late fees will be charged
beginning at 6:01pm. The fee for late pick up is $20, per child, per 15 minutes. Chronic lateness may result in
student dismissal without a refund.

*The Board of Education reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient registration. Should this occur,
participants will be notified of any changes in the class offerings via phone or e-mail. If the class is scheduled to
run, there will be no tuition refunded after May 15, 2020. Any classes cancelled by the district will be refunded in
full. Please note convenience fees for online payment are non-refundable.
Transportation: There is no transportation available for the Summer Enrichment Camp.
Code of Behavior:
All students in the Moorestown Summer Enrichment Camp Program should follow all of the policies of
Moorestown Township Public Schools. Students who refuse to abide by these rules will be given one warning
before dismissal from the program. Students dismissed in such cases will not be entitled to a refund of tuition.

Musical Theater Workshop Tentatively Rescheduled for week of August 3rd.
Grades: Pre-K-K
Class Meets: Mon.-Fri. 8:30am-11:45am
Course Description: Taught by Moorestown High School Theater directors, this course encourages an
appreciation of musicals by learning about theater in general with a focus on a popular Disney Broadway
production (e.g. “Beauty and the Beast,” “Frozen,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Mary Poppins”). A typical day consists
of singing and dancing as well as stories, short Broadway/movie clips, and a craft. The week will culminate in an
informal performance of learned material for family/friends. (Different material will be used each week, so
students are welcomed/encouraged to sign up for multiple weeks.)

will create Fruit Rainbow Pizzas, make ice cream in a bag, and test out No Bake summer recipes! Learn to make
your own healthy energy bites and yummy smoothies. Enjoy some summer fun with friends creating your own mini
Jell-O Aquariums and Sand pudding. Remember that… “Good food, leads to a good mood”. Let’s eat!

Course Description: Using LEGO bricks designed exclusively for Mad Science, junior engineers
team up to construct different projects. From carnival rides to drawing machines, mechanical

Challenges include building a space sail, bobble head, and glider car. Try your hand at aerospace,
nautical, biomechanical, and even structural engineering! Let the Engineering & Tinkering begin!

Course Description: Chess Camp has a fun and friendly spirit and is a great way to keep the brain sharp
during the summer while having a real blast! Chess Camp is a super-fun, high-energy chess experience in which
kids ages 5-12 celebrate a new chess tactic each day with silly videos, music-driven puzzlers for prizes, colorful
silicone Tactixbands, funny movies, and chess clock tourneys in which the winner gets the loser's Mardi-Gras
beads! Laughter, fast-clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this camp the summer's highlight.

Course Description: In this week long printmaking camp, students will learn how to create prints (stamps) with a
variety of materials. Students will use foam, cardboard, found objects, yarn, and unexpected items like Legos to
create a printmaking portfolio that even Andy Warhol would admire. Students will then use many other materials
including paint, chalk pastels, oil pastels, and the collage process to incorporate their prints into stunning mixed-
media pieces.

thinkers will construct meaning and understanding of reading, science, and math concepts through

Course Description: Coders and creative writers will be introduced to basic programming and collaborate with
one another as they create interactive stories, design animations, and persist through difficult tasks. Students will
develop problem solving skills as they solve coding puzzles and create their own animations. Topics covered will
be: Sequencing, repetition, conditional logic, animation, storytelling, problem solving, debugging, and more! NO
previous experience is required.

Course Description: Macramé is a form of knotting, similar to weaving. Each day we will create new
projects to take home with yarn, twine and beads. The projects we will create include: friendship bracelets,
key chains, dream catchers, plant hangers and an owl wall art hanging. Students will master the art of the
square knot as well as various combination of half-hitches to create fun projects to take home.

Cupcake Wars - Join this class remotely!!
Grades: Rising 5th-12th

Course Description: Does your child like to use their imagination and creativity in the kitchen? In
this course, we will team up to write tasty cupcake recipes and learn how to measure and combine
ingredients to make the ultimate tasty treats! Each day, we will bake a new recipe that your child
helps create using the freshest ingredients! As the week progresses, the creations will be more and more creative
and detailed. The group will be divided into two teams with a “championship bake off” at the end of the week!
Your child will bring home a cookbook including all of the recipes from the week and plenty of scrumptious treats!

Vegetarian Cooking Class & How to Start a Vegetable Garden! Join this class remotely!!

Course Description: This class is designed for anyone who loves vegetables and healthy eating!
You do not have to be a vegetarian to love veggies! Students will learn to cook a variety of vegetarian dishes that
are super healthy and tasty! We will also learn how to grow our own veggies in a vegetable garden! By the end of
the week, participants will be experts in growing healthy vegetables and knowing exactly how to use those yummy
veggies in tasty recipes!

Course Description: Are you a writer or an artist with a collection of poems, stories, or drawings? Have you
dreamt of publishing your own book? During this week, we will go from creation to being print-ready. At the end
of our week together, you will be ready to order your very own book. We will use the Canva app, combined with a
book creation software, to go from your imagination to paper!

Course Description: All beginner high school physicists would benefit from this 1, 2 or 3 week course designed
to introduce students to High School – level physics. Laying down a physics foundation in the summer to build
upon once the school year commences gives the students a great advantage!
This week’s focus: Fundamental Science Methods & Practices and 1-Dimensional Kinematics
The very basics of physics, describing motion, will be introduced via activities, discussions, problem solving and
