Key Description

The way I visualize the city is very unique and surreal, the narrative

about how the traveler goes through ‘dark woods’ which indicate difand overcomes obstacles in order to arrive at this paradise that prov

harmony. He’ll arrive but yet will not find it until he looks up and see

placed over the cliffs that‘ll lead him there. As he arrives he won’t bwalks through the city and be mesmerized about how everything see

people who don’t touch usually come down to earth will still see eve

in a tent that takes you down to observe the little wonders. A waterwould be willing to say here forever and a temple with people so inv

spirituality and meditation. A normal city with the inhabitants living

life and respect any of their visitors and warmly welcome them to thtarget audience would be based everyone from the age of 5 and onwwho likes to dream of a perfect city.

Baucis- Exterior shot - research

• I wanted my exterior shot painting to actually show where about the city is located and the journtake to get up there. I looked at real world reference and it has encouraged me to experiment in erather looking at something that directly links in with the city. I looked at reference that was morand had a touch of nature to it.

My exterior low angle, I wanted to show how the exterior of t with the inside of the city. And the movie Metropolis seemed like a good reference to loodesigns are something that I favour and would like to add intoand in some way it has influenced me to look at transport fromand be more eco friendly about it.

Baucis –  Interior shot –  research

Now that I have narrowed down my ideas and decided on how my city will look like I wanted to research more in depth. T

 was my interior establishing shot. I was confused to where I should do an interior based on the Observatory or the Templechose to do it on the temple because I did mention that a part of the city seems very cultural and spiritual.. I began to reseatemples and looked at different type of statues that will suit most and go well with the description and rocks are something

 with the whole concept about earth and how it’s is described in the page that the inhabitants respect earth a lot. I looked abuildings to make the temple seem ancient. Rocks in the alcoves is something seen very rarely something in other Templescombining all of these to create a nature based environment without adding anything that seems very urban like. I did someother concept art paintings and how their perception of temples were. ( See Fig 5 and 6)
