If they come into contact with these symptoms, it may result in severe illness requiring hospitalisaon. We thank you for your thoughulness in advance. Guided access, allows your child to only use the app you intend them to use. For example, if your school age child is required for homework to work on Reading Eggs, you can set up guided access, so that they can only use reading eggs, not jump between aps and the internet. How to use guided access: 1. Sengs 2. Accessibility 3. Guided access 4. Swipe to green 5. Set the passcode (something your child will not guess!) 6. Re –enter the passcode 7. Press the home buon (the round one with the shape of a square on it, at the boom of the Ipad ) 8. Select the app you wish your child to use 9. Press the home buon quickly 3 mes 10. Press start (top right hand buon) When your child wants to end the app, the adult is required to hit the home buon again 3 mes quickly and enter the passcode. Orana Toy library is a great, cost effectiveway to borrow different toys andresources for your child to use on a regular basis. It is located under the Macquarie Regional Library (open during renovations) andoperates during school terms on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 – 12 noon. They are also currently trialingtheopeningtimesfrom5pm-6.30pmonthe1stand 3rd Tuesday of the month. A12monthsubscriptioncosts$70.For further information, contact the volunteers through the website: www.oranatoylibrary.com.au or they have a facebook page.

Alison from the Music Circle is back to run more music sessions for our children and their siblings on Tuesday mornings. If you have previously attended, please comeagain , if you are new to music, it provides a lovely opportunity foryour children toparticipate ina music program, which encompasses many of the skills your child may already be focussing on whilst attendingEarly Intervention. Thesession runs on Tuesdays from 11:00-12:00 and is free for OECI families. Please call us on 6882 0599, for further information or if you are interested in attending.

Please remember, when attendingsessions at OECI, safety is paramount. Weoftenhavechildrenwhoareunsteadywith walking and equipment which is unsafe for young children without adult supervision. It is important for your child’s safety and the safety of others, that all of your children remain under your direct supervision and within your line of sight. Accidents happen, however we want to ensure that all precautions are taken toprevent your child and other people at our service becoming hurt or seriously injured.

The benefits of playing with Here is a great no cook playdough recipe for you to

try at home:Ingredients:2cupsofplainflour2 tablespoons of vegetable oil½ cup of salt2 tablespoons of cream of tartarUp to 1 and a 1/2 cups of boiling waterFood colouring
