Well done to all of our Year 3-6 students who sat the incredibly difficult University of NSW English, Mathematics and Science Assessments a couple of months ago. Their results, against the very best students in Australasia, were very pleasing considering the difficulty of the tests.

Kinder 2020 Orientation
Kindergarten Orientation Parent information afternoon We are looking forward to meeting with our parents at the information session in the school library this Monday, 25 November 2019 at 3:10pm.
Orientation sessions • Tuesday, 26 November – 9:00am to 11:00am ‐ Students will need to bring morning tea and a hat with them to school for this session. • Wednesday, 27 November – 11:00am to
3:00pm ‐ Students will need to bring lunch and a hat with them to school for this session.

South Campus Orientation
Our Year 6 students who will be attending Dubbo College South Campus in 2020 have their full day orientation on Tuesday, December 3 at the campus.
The day commences meeting at the Dubbo College South Campus front office at 9:30am and concludes at 2:40pm.
Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from the campus. Students are to wear their school uniform and take recess, lunch and a drink with them.
DMMSG Visit
Thank you to Rafrd from the Dental Medical Mobile Service Group who visited our school on Thursday. Not only did some of our children obtain a dental examination, they also learnt about the importance of oral hygiene and maintaining healthy teeth!

The staff and children of Wongarbon School would like to thank Mr Brian AhSee for teaching us about the Wiradjuri Aboriginal Language and Culture in 2019. The children have all enjoyed learning the Wiradjuri words for our native animals, family members, and counting. They have found it interesting to listen to the many different Dreamtime stories.
P&C Meeting Everyone is most welcome to attend the next P&C
meeting to be held next Tuesday, November 27 at
the Ploughman’s Rest Tavern at 7:00pm.
