Manager & Project Manager for the following projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsible in preparing the designs related to the Fresh Water and Brackish
Water Supply System for Gahra City and the Reconstruction of Pumping
Stations, Kuwait. The project comprises design of new water main (1 000,
800, 600 mm), fresh water towers 34.50 m high, above ground storage
reservoirs 10 MG in capacity, water towers 0.65 MG in capacity, and
rehabilitation of an existing water pipe line to be 800 mm instead of 600 mm,
including instrumentation control philosophy, upgrade, SCADA philosophy &
provide training to the Ministry of Electrical & Water Engineers.
Seconded to Pan Arab consulting Engineers (in Kuwait) for one year as
infrastructure specialist to be responsible in preparing the designs related to
upgrading of Jahra & Jamal Abd-Nasser Highways infrastructure and Jaber
Al-Ahmed City infrastructure systems.
Responsible in preparing the data collection preliminary designs, detail design
review and tender document related to the improving wastewater systems in

degradation from groundwater for Pyramids Plateau, Egypt. Credit from the
United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project
includes building the capacity of Egyptian experts to: (a) perform groundwater
studies, and (b) develop engineering studies for groundwater lowering
projects, develop Groundwater Computer Model, preparing a monitoring
program for monuments in the project area & provide training to Supreme
Council of Antiquities personnel.
Responsible in preparing detailed infrastructure design and shop drawings for
EL-Kureimat New Combined Cycle Power Station (860 000 m2). The
conventional combined cycle power plant comprises two electricity-generating
modules (Module I and Module II) each with rated capacity of 750 MW. Each
Module comprises two combustion turbine generators delivering an output of
2x250 MW, two Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) and one steam
turbine generator delivering an output of 250 MW, which are fed into the
Egyptian Unified Power System (UPS). The gas turbines use firing natural gas
or light fuel oil (solar) in emergencies and exhaust gases are expelled through
an 80 m high stack.
Responsible in preparing the designs related to the domestic water, fire
fighting, storm drainage and sewage vacuum system for Expansion of Esnaad
Industrial Area in Mussafah at Abu Dhabi & Millennium Resort Hotel, UAE.
The project includes design of new water &fire network, storm drainage
network & vacuum sewage network including pumping rooms &
instrumentation control philosophy.
Responsible in preparing the designs related to the sewage system for 28
villages in Kafr El Shaikh, Egypt, including the design of sewage network,
lifting station and sewage treatment plant and hydraulic analysis and
population analysis.
