2. The engineering training (UE Pro)During the S8, the students go on with the activities they started during S7:

◊applied engineering project or research project,◊sport, ◊tutoringactivities.

At the end of S8 (mid April - May of year 2) the student must perform an applied engineering internshipofatleast12weeks.

3. UE language and culture Thestudentsgoonwiththeirlanguagecourses.

International studentsStudentsarrivingatEcoleCentraledeLyonfortheS8havetofollowUEELC.InUEPro,theyfollow sport and perform a research project in one of the six laboratories of the Ecole Centrale deLyon(LMFA,LTDS,INL,LIRIS,Ampère,CamilleJordan).Theyparticipateatthediscoveringinquiryabouttheengineeringprofession,andattendconferences.Theresearchprojectreplac-estheappliedproject.Languagesactivitiesarealsocompulsory.
